I apologise if this isn't really for this forum but you've all given some great opinions and advice previously.
I'm quite a mentally strong person. When something bad happens to me I try to always look on the bright side. I'm not saying I don't hurt or get upset, but I try to tread water and swim instead of sink.
Recently, I've got the impression that because of this attitude to this people think I don't care about a situation. The worst part about it being I get this feeling from people who are the closest to me, who should know me best.
Does anybody else feel this way sometimes?

Mmmm, I'm pretty much the same as you, only I never really cared that much about what other people think. Is this a situation where it's critical that other people know that you "care"? (E.g., a job where your boss thinks you don't give a hoot about a project that's falling apart?) Or is the importance of their seeing that only in your own mind?
I also have a positive life perspective. When things don't work out, instead of moaning about it or letting it ruin my day and attitude, I try to find the positive in it instead.
Some people just don't think this way; they never will, and they don't understand it.

Remember - what others think of you is none of your business.
