Addictive Thinking Has anybody here read "Addictive Thinking" by Abraham Twerski, M.D. ? I'm only half way through the third chapter (and I cheated and read the part about codependents first). I have already inhaled sharply 4 or 5 times. I love this book. He talks about "addictologia", the distorted logic that addicts and codependents indulge in. I seeeeee meeeeee!!!!! And he uses fabulous chapter titles such as "Flavors and colors of reality". This book addresses the question "HOW CAN HE THINK THAT WAY???" |
Smoke: Dagnabit! My library budget is already overrun. Now I'm going have to go buy this book too. I'm just a little concerned though ... do I really want to understand the mind of the addict? It sounds like a verweee, verwee, scarwee place. EEEEEEEEKKKKKKKK!!! Heels |
Hold my place...I am on my the way to the library! |
