Difficult memories
Sorry if there have been posts about this already but the sad death of Cory montheith brought back some really difficult memories. The reports that his girlfriend and friends could 'control' him when he was near them hit a nerve. Reminded me of that sad futile effort of keeping an alcoholic sober when it was never going to work without them wanting it.
To anyone going through that now and not knowing what to do - I hope your situation gets better but if it doesn't and you have to walk, it does feel better to be out of that desperate cycle. There is hope x

Anon, Yes, this sad event was very thought provoking to me, also. I think that, once again, this is an example of how the nature of this disease is the same no matter who it pertains to. Gender, race, socio-economic status, celebrity status--or not.......the disease does not give one twit.
