I find if I don't vacuum enough, I end up with a dog hair shirt, especially if the shirt is black!

I agree that it's a feeling that's counterproductive in the long run. It is, however, pretty productive when you're in the middle of dealing with an A to acknowledge all your feelings, including the "F this!" One...

I can feel that way about just anything if I get too much of it, even good things. If I start feeling that way then I must need a break. Maybe you do, crazed. A few weeks of enjoying those things that people who don't know alcoholism experience. Maybe there are concerts in the park of your town, parades, fire works coming up, fairs. Maybe getting out and experiencing more of the joys of life that have absolutely nothing to do with alcohol could refresh some of your energy. Those very things that you used to do before she came into your life, whatever they are, what I wrote above are possibilities or examples.
We can have too much of a good thing, even a helpful thing. Balance. It is so important to balance out life with different pursuits that renew us in their unique ways.
