Does anyone have experience of UK law

I was going to run away but as time passes I am clearer that actually I need to maintain stability for my son and as I'm pregnant I don't need to be fleeing. Also I see it as giving him my power if I run.
How do I either get him out or leave the home we're in and get a new place? we're renting and have a joint contract until end of May 2014. I cannot wait that long!!!

Have you tried a solicitor? I think you are entitled to 20 or 30 minutes free initially. Also if you suffer from Domestic Abuse - and this includes verbal violence as well as physical, could you try Women's Aid or Refuge?
I agree CAB would be a great place to start.
Also could you try your local council?
Good luck - you will be given priority I hope due to your pregnancy. I just wish I had had the courage to leave 5 years ago.

many times a local church may also be of much help
have seen the churches move ones out and help them to get another place to live
never hurts to talk with a Pastor or a Deacon of a church
