Quacking or Serious?
sunnshinegirl,
I am so happy to hear you are taking care of you!
Every day could be a celebration of life itself!
When I realized what I had become used to, it saddened and shocked me.
And, yes, I had to own my part.
When did I become this person, the one who sat there and said nothing----
just because it was better than the alternative with the alcoholic.
I am delighted you are owning your life and getting away.
Be safe and be happy!
Beth

Just coming back to update. Going back to my original question, serious or quacking, because of the rant AH did (even though not directed at me), I'm able to get a protective order. I had no idea that I could but my attorney thought it was serious enough to do so. This has been a learning experience like none other. Anyway, just wanted to put that out there in case someone is in a similar situation to mine and not knowing what to do. Please be proactive on your behalf. Thanks again everyone.
