a movie that spoke my language
I just had to share this. My wife and I sat down and watched "When A Man Loves A Woman" last night. Back when it came out (in like 1994) I was about 19 and had zero interest in what I considered was probably a "chick flick". Fast forward 20 years....
I actually laughed at a few of the scenes due to how much I could relate. My wife caught me chuckling and says, "s--- I've said that how many times??" which was good because she got it and rather than getting upset could see the humor in it. Anyway, it was just funny because parts of it I almost felt like the script was written from our lives. Sometimes the conversations between the husband and wife almost seemed verbatim to ones we've had. I'm sure someone has certainly brought up this movie before but it was nice to find something we could both relate to. Even if you're not a Meg Ryan fan it might be worth watching if you haven't seen it.
