My New Theme Song
Maybe by the Sick Puppies. No matter what kind of music you listen to, listen to this song. This is so speaking to me this morning!
Maybe I'm a dreamer
Maybe I'm misunderstood
Maybe you're not seeing the side of me you should
Maybe I'm crazy
Maybe I'm the only one
Maybe I'm just out of touch
Maybe I've just had enough
Maybe it's time to change
And leave it all behind
I've never been one to walk alone
I've always been scared to try
So why does it feel so wrong
To reach for something more
To wanna live a better life
What am I waiting for?
'Cause nothing stays the same
Maybe it's time to change
Maybe it's hopeless
Maybe I should just give up
What if I can't trust myself?
What if I just need some help?
Maybe it's time to change! It is so definitely time for change over here!!

I love this song!
My new theme song is Lee Dewyze's "Sweet Serendipity". I stopped following American Idol years ago, so I hadn't heard of him (or this song) until recently. My favorite part is the chorus:
"And I’m doing just fine
I’m always landing on my feet
In the nick of time
And by the skin of my teeth
I ain’t gonna stress
Cause the worst ain’t happened yet
Something's watching over me
Like Sweet Serendipity"
I'm also quite partial to "Overweight" by Blue October. It's not for everyone, but the words really speak to me.
