My 1st wife did about 2 years ago. An early death in the hospital from drinking. Withdraws is my guess. Send me a PM if you ever want to talk. You are in my prayers. Their will be grief, regret, sadness, guilt, hope, and life will move on.. All in time. I embraced and let the feelings out as the waves came.

Thanks to everyone for their kind thoughts and prayer. I've mostly been a lurker here, and over the last two years this site has kept me sane.

We are doing OK and the support of family, both blood and online, is helping us through.

I'm truly sorry for your loss. You and your son are in my prayers.

I'm at a loss of words, as I can't think of anything I'd want or need to hear if my alcoholic wife passed away suddenly.

I just pray that the peace your family needs will come to you all.
