Thank you, those were almost her exact words. It is not me. It is her problems.
Sad part, as much as I know it is out of my hands, I just want to be there to help her.

But ya know what? Looking back, I tried that in the past and wasn't capable of doing anything to help when I really think about it.


As all SOs know, the feeling of helplessness is the worst part.
You want to get "tagged in" and kick this thing's a$$ for the person you love.


Nevertheless, I have faith.
Not that we will get back together but that what is meant to be will.

This is one of THE most important attitudes you can possibly have.

I often don't know what's best for me. I will spend all kinds of energy trying to make things happen without REALLY knowing that it's for the best. Sometimes having that thing NOT happen is what's best.

I predict a good recovery for you.
