Why we do what we do

Hi, SR! It's been a while, this forum is such a great place...

I know a lot of you grew up with alcoholism/addiction and later were naturally exposed (or attracted) to more alcoholism/addiction. We all know how devastating this disease is and what it robs you of as a human being.

For those of you traumatized by this from a young age or anyone being repeatedly abused/neglected and/or feeling that guilt and shame to those wondering how children suffer as adults from the effects of parental figure alcoholism these article and all others by Pete Walker really helped me see things like never before and brought some much needed peace, love, and understanding. Maybe some of you will find them helpful too.

You can click on the side articles they are all great!
