Hi Laura,

We had a big discussion over on the Nar-Anon board yesterday about time zones. Ok, I know Pacific time is three hours behind Eastern, so 9 Eastern is 6 Pacific. I'm in Detroit, and Chicago is one hour behind me. But I think the Texas region of the U.S. is two hours behind me! So I go with if you live East of Michigan, it's 9 PM. If you live in the Chicago Region, its 8PM. If you are in the Texas section it's 7 PM and if you are in the West Coast area it's 6 PM.


Anyone live in central time zone that can confirm??

HI! I live in Arkansas, central time. Just subtract one hour from the eastern time and ya have us pegged. Your 10:00 eastern meeting was 9:00 central for me.

I don't think we missed it. Should have been at 9:00 central time but nobody was there. I know there was a thread that said there was a meeting tonight. I was looking forward to it, too. Darn it anyway!

I'm really sorry! The Al-Anon meeting was LAST night (look at the date of the original post).

Al-Anon meetings are Mondays at 10 PM and Fridays at 9 PM (these are Eastern times)

Please look at the Chat Forum on the main board to see times of meetings. I believe there is a Newcomers Meeting sometime during the week that is for everyone.

Aha! I didn't even check the date. Duh! Oh well, I don't think I was the only one. Thanks for the info regarding the meetings. I will definitely see about being here on Friday. Mondays are out because that is when I go to the f2f meeting out of town. Thanks so much for the info!!!!
