It took me until this afternoon to remember
 

that I actually got MARRIED on Valentine's Day. To my first husband (the one who is sober--kiddos' dad).

It's funny, but I got an email from him this afternoon, I thanked him for the Valentine's Day card I got from him and the family, and all of a sudden it popped into my head--the anniversary thing.

I actually felt a little guilty, because I'm sure it was on his mind (he tends to think of stuff like that more often than I do--significant dates and stuff). I didn't bring it up, and neither did he. But I'm sure he thought of it.

It did make me glad that we are still such good friends--at least the thought of Valentine's Day is still a happy one for me.
