Yeah, today is the big anniversary, wedding that is, 18 years. Better this year than last... but then, that's not hard, last year I found a love letter to a close friend. It was something he'd written in rehab, homework, denouncing all the things he'd given his affection for, alcohol, and apparently this woman. He says, and I believe, nothing happened. But it really doesn't matter when you find out your husband loves someone else. I'm actually far more jealous of alcohol! So this is the new year, the banner year! The craziest part of the anniversary thing in our house, is that he still pictures us this couple in the movies. We should start with wild sex, move on to adventurous fun, and end with ultimate romance. Me? I'd just settle for sedate and sober..... LOL! Funny how your idea of romance changes through the course of alcoholism. He doesn't know how easy I am to please! But, having vented, I now do plan to try to make a pleasant day of it... who knows, God's alive, miracles happen, I COULD have a GREAT day!!!!!! I'll plan on that! Wish me luck!

Okay, you guys are the B*E*S*T! And you know what? I am going to do something soooooooo radical and take your advice TO HEART and show my heart-felt change and deliver on what I proclaim. I like me, I love my kids, I have amazing friends and family. I have only ONE little problem: my husband is an alcoholic. Now, why shouldn't I be happy!!!!!! From now on, I AM McHappy... Look for me in the posts..... Yay! My new identity!
