I wasn't directing it at you in particular--it's just something I see a lot on various threads and it bothers me. My problem, of course--and I understand the impulse to look at it that way. I've done it, myself. I guess I think it's healthier for me to work on feeling better about me, and not to console myself that someone else will be suffering like I did.

stay strong. this new girl doesn't matter. it doesn't have anything to do with her, she is just someone who will enable and tolerate his drinking- I do believe that A's seek those kinds of people out.
