A pretty good day
So, I guess these days I'm clinging to any tiny shred of hope that I can find. I'm not JUST focusing on that, I am working on myself as well. Went to dinner with some friends last night. Took the kids to church this morning. They said my RAH wanted to take them to the buffet for lunch and I should text him after church. So I did, and he texted back telling me which buffet to meet him at. So, when we got there, the kids jumped out of the car and I rolled my window down to say hi...and he said...."aren't you going to come eat with us?"
Ok, so it's not too exciting, but still...we managed to sit there for 30 minutes and I didn't talk too much or ask questions (a major complaint from him) and we didn't argue.
Of course, we didn't talk much, but still...an improvement!

A positive step in the right direction!
Remember, sometimes it is ok to remain quiet and let things work themselves out in their own time. I am always amazed at what happens when I get out of my own way!
