Found hidden empty beer stash..................
So I am outside adding some more water to my hot tub- love that thing - and fixing some landscape lights and I am on a step ladder by the fence - and something caught my eye- I look down in the wooden fence - where this gate is - and down in between the wood there are tons of empy beer cans- all differnent kinds - I don't know if I am pissed or sad or surprised or nothing............ I am thankful - I know - that AH is no longer living here and I don't have to deal with his anger and his lying and his accusations and porn and mean comments to me and the dog and my son.................Ok - I am done.................

This may sound silly but maybe recycle them. The amount alcoholics can drink is incredible. I once knew a lady who had given up trying to control her husbands drinking & began to recycle the hundreds of empty beer cans. She got almost $30 bucks at the end of the month.

I found beer (unopened) when I moved 2 months ago... 3 YEARS after he moved out.
And no, I don't have a cluttered, messy house - he was that sneaky!
Oh, and one empty in the back of the linen closet behind the sheets.
I'm so glad those days are over. It use to make me mad. Now I just thank my lucky stars that I'm free.

So AH had to come down to the house to get something and I stupidly said so I found a huge stash of empty beer cans in the fence and it made me really sad - he yells at me - I have been working really hard getting myself straight ( he has not quit drinking and living with parents doing everything for him) thanks for insulting me have a nice day. Oh boy - I should not have said anything - it wasn't an insult - that would have been me saying - you are a pathetic piece of **** for throwing all of those cans in the fance. I need to not be here when he has to come down and get something .
How do you find a recycle center near you that pays? The one near me doesn't pay, I asked.
Isn't it amazing when you compare how different this situaotion would be if he still lived with you to now when he doesn't!
Now that he is gone, you see all the cans and just shake your head. The biggest inconvience of this is if you decide to clean them up.
If he was still with you, well this could have turned into a huge ordeal. No matter how far we are in our recovery, I still think finding that many beer cans would be hard very hard emotionally..expecially if you thought he had been doing good.
Amazing how situations get easier once they are gone Now go enjoy that hot tub! I'm so jealous you have one!

Hi,
I am sorry you found them and that he was so mean about it later...
My experience with the A. is they really don't like being called out on their deception and lies so that's probably why he reacted the way he did.
Be glad he is gone!
