xabf 2011 Tax Returns

I was looking up my last year tax returns and come across his. I'm on day 21 of intentional no-contact. By mailing them back am I breaking the no-contact? Do I wait until after my 60 days? I wouldn't call or email. Just straight to him with return address as his.

Thoughts?

Hope the no contact is going OK and bringing you some peace and clarity. If it were me I'd drop them in the mailbox and be done with it. Out of sight out of mind.

Yup. This is business, not personal.

Before you drop them to him, keep a copy for your records.

Why?

Years after my divorce IRS came after me for money HE OWED, from when
we were married.

It is called CYA.

Love and hugs,

If he wants, he can get a copy from the IRS.

He hasnt asked for them. I filed them for him the previous 3 yrs. Part of me thinks sending them is my continuing to take care of him..the other part thinks not sending them is hostility.

Well whether you send them or not, still keep a copy for your records as you
were the one that 'filed' them. Still a CYA for you, 'just in case.'

Does he have copies of the other years you filed for him? IF so then just drop
these in the mail to him, with his address as both the return address and the
send to address. Some non committal note like "these are for your records."

Then let it go.

Copied (just in case) and mailed. No note. His address as sender and receiver. Now they aren't staring at me anymore. Thanks!
