Hi. I'm new here and have never done this before. I've read some of the posts and it helps to know other people are going through the same things. Thanks.

Re: new

Thank you for your replies. Yesterday could have been a bad day for me, my AH was drunk and out of control. Probably will be today too. Reading your replies was very helpful to keep things in perspective. I've learned a great deal over the last year. My son and his wife both were in Iraq for a year. After being consumed with worry for almost 365 days, it makes me see my AH drunken temper fits in a new light. He left me alone for that year, maybe he knew I couldn't take it, but he's back to the same stuff we had before Iraq. Instead of being devastated by his verbal attacks, I now just look at him a feel sorry he's in such a miserable state. We have so much to be thankful for and he is wasting time. Normally, I'm not so maudlin, I just want to say thanks for the support!

Re: new

Hi Elaine,

I am so glad to hear that your son and his wife are home safe!! Trying to imagine how worried you must have been gives me a new prospective as well. While our A's are drunk things just don't seem good for us sometimes......working on that though. Hearing about your news helps to take a look at all I have and be ever so grateful!!
Keep coming back.....because it works if we work it!!

My prayers to you and your family,
matters
