Thanks LTD ~

I too am a survivor of Christmas past ~ of the tears, fears and broken years ~

Now we have wonderful Christmas times ~ filled with so much laughter, joy, craziness. . .

The best part of recovery in me I noticed when my granddaughter that lives with us was trying to finish her supper so we could hurry & go wrap presents ~ like 8 yr olds do, she spilled her drink all over my white Christmas table cloth. Poor thing, her eyes started to tear up, she was so afraid she was going to get in trouble. . . I told her "don't even worry about it ~ it's washable and actually here's a spot that I spilled on it too"
It's all about relaxing, having fun & enjoying life ~ she said "Can I still wrap presents?"

Of course we wrapped presents, watched Christmas Vacation & laughed like silly little girls ~ because we didn't live in a home controlled by the crazy disease of alcoholism/addiction ~

It is a Wonderful Life (my favorite movie ever)

I pray you & yours have many many wonderful Christmas & Bdays!
