And I am thankful for all of you, dear SR family!! Hope you have a blessed and thankful holiday - whether it's with your dog, your cat, your children, your spouse, or by yourself eating off a paper plate, but at least at peace.

Peace,

Happy Turkey Eve SR!

I'm grateful to have found a wonderful forum that can help me grow as a person and understand the importance of taking care of me first. I'm new to this ME ME ME thing. :wild

November is one of my favorite months - like many others on Facebook - I do 30 days of gratitude during the month of November ~

I have to say that none of my gratitude would be possible if it wasn't for recovery ~ I wouldn't be able to realize ALL the wonderful blessings in my life!

Thanks to my HP, Al-Anon, SR & all my recovery family - today I can recognize how wonderful life really is!

Thanks for starting this wonderful gratitude thread COD!

I am thankful for my 3 beautiful children, my son is 22, my oldest daughter 19 and my youngest daughter is 16. They are a joy and sometimes a pain in the butt all at once. I love them to death.

I am thankful for our beautiful home. We just moved in June to a beautiful victorian house and we have our own laundry. That is awesome!

I am thankful for Amaretto our wonderful calico kitty. We call her Retto. She is sweet as pie.

I am thankful for my career. 11 years at a place I love going to everyday and my co workers have become like family.

We are all healthy.

I wish each and every one of you here at SR a wonderful day full of love and smiles. As I have said before and others have said before me, You all have come into my life at a time when I was lost and did not know where to turn. I am grateful for all I have read and reread here and you have changed my life and put me back in control. I am empowerd and for that I thank you all everyday since I have joined here. Cheers!

Let me add:

I am thankful for the Pilgrims who came to this country
I am thankful for prior generations who helped build this country and freedom

And very thankful, and grateful, to the men and women of our Armed Forces who have protected that freedom for over 200 years
