Ok so I grieved lastnight. I didn't sleep well.
I woke up crying.
I don't want to face the day.
I feel hurt, betrayed & stupid.
But mainly I just feel an empty numbness.

Rosiepetal, I so understand the painful emotional cycle that you're going through. All I can say, having also felt the grief, the pain, the numbness, the anger, is that the cycle does progress to feeling free, to feeling whole, to feeling joy. For me, the cycle keeps on rolling through these states, and I dread the painful parts.

But I, as a whole, sentient, feeling, free person, keep emerging now and again. I think you will, too.

Hugs to you, Rosiepetal! Your cycle of pain will lessen, grief won't always be with you. Stay strong, get some rest, and I hope you can do something for yourself this weekend to show yourself some self-love.

Me too. I just went through this beginning in June. Feel free to read my threads from then. Such agony. Such emotional pain. But you get through it. One day at a time. You just keep moving forward, one little baby step at a time. Don't look back; there's nothing left back there but ruins and unending pain. Keep facing your future. Look to your dreams, your goals, your heart's desires. You can do it!
