OT - Natural Beauty of Southern Oregon

On Tuesday, I went out for my first "weekday" photo shoot. I had seen photos of Toketee Falls, and wanted to capture it myself. So, I left my house at 4am and drove the Rogue-Umpqua Scenic Byway. I must say, I was amazed at the beauty of this area so close to my home.

Mount Thielsen conjurs up fond memories of the whimsical illustrations in the Dr. Seuss books.

I've mentioned before that waterfalls are my "thing," and this area has plenty of them.

I haven't shot the headwaters of the Rogue River for a few years. I must say my new images are much improved from those I shot in 2009.

And lest you think I am all work and no play, I did soak in a natural hot spring for a little while.

God I am so jealous, after 4 days of staring at the walls of an office.

No worries lillamy, Alaska is on my bucket list. I just need to bide my time until my nest is empty.

About calendars. I never really considered it, since I have been doing alright just selling prints. But, if enough people want them, I will do one. I have looked at the print-on-demand sites and the retail price would end up being somewhere around $30. Do you all think that is doable, or would it be a waste of time?

Thank you kmj! I wanted to clarify...I'm not looking for commitments or promises. Just opinions on if that is too much or not. It does take some work to put together. (Then again, I do have time for it now, lol.)
