Had contact with Ex

So I just had some brief contact with my EXABY.
It was via email & was really about housekeeping eg, keys, tv etc.
We asked how each other were & we both replied ok.
I asked if it was ok to call in on his Mum sometime which is a fair question as she is 85 & ex lives with her. He said it was ok. Obviously this would be when he wasn't there.
Not sure how I feel.
I felt like bursting into tears but also felt a calmness that we were not fighting.
It does however feel very final so I guess it's natural to feel sad for a love lost?
A smiley face wouldn't go amiss now though lol.

It's all natural, it's all good, it's all part of the process. You're okay, and you've got a big heart for wanting to keep in touch with his mom.

Smile for you! :-)

There's a quote from Morrison's Beloved: "“Anything dead coming back to life hurts.” You're coming back to life. It hurts. But you're okay; you're more than okay.

Yes it is natural to feel sad... and lots of other things too.

At least things went okay when you talked to him, when I tried talking to mine he was a complete a*hole. Calmness is good, fighting sucks. I bet you will feel lots better soon!

Get busy looking for things to do for you to enjoy, feel pampered, loved & taken care of.
Mourning might feel like a rollercoaster but in the end there is forgiveness & compassion, there are new adventures to live, enjoy and learn from.

Hugs
