I forgot to go to Al-Anon!
However, I'm telling myself that that's OK and maybe even good. I was so busy with my kids and the garden and just doing stuff, I totally forgot. To me that means that I may have been NOT thinking about how mad and sad I am, for a bit. And that has to be a good thing.
If you were doing something that made you happy, then that's a form of therapy in itself. I haven't made a meeting in almost two months, due first to work and then bed rest for my pregnancy. I've been feeling really anxious because of it. Even my husband has noticed. I keep forgetting about the online meetings, but most days having SR is enough to keep me reasonably upright.
You can hear Al-Anon step or topical podcasts online anytime. You also can download them to your smartphone or iPod so you have them on-the-go whenever you need them. The iTunes Store has step podcasts free as well.
