Haven't Been Here For A While
 

So much has happened, and I am back to square one. There was a huge crisis in my life back at the end of 2011, and in that moment of insane weakness, I took the AH back.

Now I'm clawing my way out of the hole to find myself and freedom from AH again. I hate him.

Wonderful to find my way back here again. I will post more of the story when I have a little bit more time.

Meanwhile, I've been doing a lot of reading here. And crying.

Don't think of yourself as being back at square 1. You've likely learned a lot and progressed on your own journey over the last year which gives you a huge head start this time.

We rarely get things right the first time and often need to do things over. It gets better, and we get better!

Welcome back! And like hypatia says above, it doesn't have to be square 1. It can be simply the next step in your life.

Sue, I'm sorry you find yourself back in this position. Reading that one sentence really struck a chord with me.

Clawing your way out of the hole. I get it. I was there so many times. Each time wondering how the hell did I get back here again? Beating myself up that I obviously didn't learn enough after the last 20 times of doing this or I wouldn't be here again.

Be kind to yourself. You aren't really back at square one. You've merely taken a step back. So, now take those two steps forward. We are here to support you in whatever way you need. :):grouphug:
