Filing for divorce with the very STBXAW. We are filing as co-pationers and the papers are all ready. So here is hoping for a painless experience!

It seems surreal. I know it has been painful and its not over yet, but it has been a lot easyer and cheaper then I expected.

I have a great weekend planed after this. Rest and relaxation tonight, I might even get a bottle of wine, that will last me a week or more! Tomorrow it's going to be an awesome day, it is the last car race of the season at our local track. Then maybe a nice drive on Sunday!

I'm off to the courthouse!

It's done! Just have to wait for the Judge to sign it.

Uncontested divorces usually go pretty quickly (and cheaply!), unless you have kids. My ex and I divorced for $500 because we had no marital property, and split all the kids' expenses right down the middle. We adjust as their needs change (daycare, after school care, activities, etc.). Congratulations! Do a happy dance and celebrate!

Well I had 2 beers. And watched some tv. It has Bern a good night. I'm going to celebrate with friends at a later date.

The divorce cost $260 here. No kids so it was pretty simple. I'm glad it's over, I have peace in my heart again.

When I bought the 6 pack tonight I thought, wow it's so nice that I don't have to worry about someone drinking it all. Next time I feel like a beer, I know they will still be in the fridge.
