I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for all your kind words when I posted about losing my dog Cooper yesterday.

I thought a picture of him going down the slide might make you smile today.

He was a true rock star!

I'm so sorry! We lost our dog of eleven years a couple of weeks ago. Still heartbroken, but very very thankful for all the time we had together. She was my best friend through a lot of difficult times -- don't know how I would have made it through without her!

Now that's a first for me - a dog who loved to slide! Sounds like a children's book...

Thanks for sharing, and peace today. You did the right thing. I hated having to put my dog down, but I knew it was only fair to give her the same care in the end that she had given me over the years.

My Toby will be waiting for Cooper on the other side. Toby was a cat who loved dogs more than other cats and I just know that he'll give Cooper a hug and show him around.

My heart broke when I lost my dear Toby, it's over 3 years now, but I have to tell you that every tear was worth it because of all the joy he brought me over his long life. And today I can smile at the memories, and say "thank you dear Toby" and know that sometimes these special fur babies are sent to bring us lessons that remain long after they are gone.

I am so sorry for your sadness and loss, but glad that Cooper was so very special and will always remain in your heart.
