New Start and I can relax for the first time in a LONG time

Last Friday me and my two boys moved into our new home.
Man the 3 of us were SO excited - I was worse than them.
It is modern, in town beside my sister and friends, the kids have a room each and best of all I have this AMAZING room with an en suite. Also my kitchen is the business - I have an integrated fridge and dishwasher....jeez how easliy please am I?
Anyway...I have a fantastic feeling that everything is going work out just great here. Have lovely neighbours and the area is quiet although still near to things.
The boys have a few weeks before school so we will be well settled in by then
LIFE IS GOOD !!!!

Thanks

It really does feel like home already - the painters are in today giving it the finishing touches.

Today for the first time in a very long time, I am happy to be me.

It sure can sobroken.
9 months ago when I made AH moved out, I didn't think I had the strength to do anything. As time goes on you realise how strong and independent you really are. Dreams can be realised and serenity is out there waiting...you just have to let it happen

**{Adventure}}....your time will come too.
I have waited a long time for something positive in my life and this new home have given me something to look forward to.
I am now excited to get home everyday instead of dreading what I am going to find when I get there.
If I can do it....so can YOU - Stay Strong

Thank you so much Milly, you just brought a (happy) tear to my eye! My time is very, very close, I will post about it separately, but I'm in touching distance now.

I think more than anything else this is what I'm looking forward to most. I spend so much time avoiding going home and wearing myself out by being out and about too much. I'm so excited at the thought of actually wanting to go home to my new place every day, and being happy to stay there all night.

Stories like yours and others here on SR and in Al Anon are helping me to change my life for the better, so thank you for sharing.
