Thumbs up Thank you, friends. All of you.

Hello,

I was a member here years ago, stressed to the max about my best friend being an alcoholic. I had NO IDEA what alcoholism was and I was only 17. I want to THANK YOU SO MUCH... you helped me through that horrific time.

My friend is over a year sober and owns his own recovery house now.

Thank you for giving me the support to make it through that tragic time in my life.

I have never felt so loved in my whole life than I have here. I love you!

P.S. I am so appreciative that I am interested in donating to this website. Is there a way I can?

wow, what a lovely compliment. It really helps when people come back and let us know we are doing a good job.

Sure, several way. I have passed your question up the organization. It's a _huge_ corporation, so it may take a few days for them to get back to you.

Thanks again for the compliments

I'm SO glad to hear that!!! I've spent a lot of time here in the past six years, and seen people come and go, and I often wonder "Whatever happened to so-and-so?" and seeing people come back and tell their stories is so wonderful!!!

We need these these stories to remind us of the power of recovery. To keep hope for recovery alive. You brought a tear to my eye (of gratitude).

I had no hope and no direction... but I had you guys!!!!

I forgot to mention that I also learned that I had an addiction through the tragedy I went through with my friend. I have recovered since Jan. 10, 2012. Blessings come in disguises, sometimes painful.
