About second chances

Sometimes giving someone a second chance is like giving them an extra bullet for their gun because they missed you the first time.

this is so him a second chance, now I don't know what to do since he has relapsed after 9 months sobriety. I do know what I should do but my heart is having a hard time letting go again to the man I fell in love with.

Second time I've seen this quote today! Looks like I gave my ABF a machine gun with plenty of of me are exploding everywhere!

That's a keeper! Here's one of my favorites:

Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on me.

I don't think it is wrong to sometimes give someone a second chance. Maybe even a third. It is the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, etc. chances ...

Thank you. I think I too have given well more than a second chance. I think I gave her her last chance too. And she would rather spend the time with the other man. Things like that make my choice easyer. But dealing with it is the hard part.

I had to leave when the active alcoholic started collecting guns, a lot of guns.
Everybody has to draw the line somewhere.

I had to have an "emotional rock bottom" I reached this after giving him (as well as other boyfriends with addictive issues) numerous opportunities throughout the years. I was tapped out.
