Congratulations on your freedom, Chronsweet!!
FWIW, my brothers and I spent years wishing our dad would just get a divorce and take us away with him. Society may idealize the whole two-biological-parent household thing, but in reality that's not always the best situation -- and even very young children can understand that. I love that you are seeking full custody. Your son is lucky to have such a caring, strong, intelligent mom!
