Best Day yet!
 

This day, two weeks from the horrible night I left my XABF, I'm feeling rather good.

Bought a cute outfit yesterday so I'd feel good today. Took time with my appearance. Very successful morning (got high praise from a consultant at work -- I'm in the media, praise is hard to come by!). Very productive day at work! Got my nails done at lunch. Have plans this weekend tonight through Saturday night with friends. Getting a pedi and spray tan tomorrow!

I'm keeping busy and keeping positive. I keep hoping this lasts!

sounds like a great day, jessie! :) i went out last night for a friend's birthday and had SO much fun! we had pre-dinner wine (diet coke for this non-drinker!) and cupcakes at a cupcake lounge, a LONG and funny dinner at an italian restaurant, and then post-dinner shenanigans at a country and western bar/dancer club. you know what the best part was? not a SINGLE one of them cared that i didn't have any alcohol, or accused me of "exuding bitch" because i'm the quiet observer in the group. they love me for who i am and realize, unlike xabf, that people are in fact capable of celebrating and having fun without being stone cold drunk!
