He certainly is an abusive alcoholic. It's important to ask yourself if this is what you want for your life. If it isn't, you must change course.

Like many others have stated "I feel your pain"
Loving someone like that causes you more pain & confusion.
Remember a alcoholic cannot have a healthy relationship with no one.
They will always choose the drink over you or anyone else that tries to get in between them and the drink.. Trust me I learned this the hard way.
And if he is with someone else I feel sorry for her, because he will treat her no better than he did you.
Just learn to love yourself and remember the healing process takes time.
