Not a good day so far! ugggggggggggggg

I hope everyone has a great Holiday weekend!!

I am going to be optimistic for the rest of my day and make it a good one. Good thing it is my choice.

Bad day here too! My ABF was drunk when I got up at 5 am. It's a long weekend too.

Since my now XAH left now I can actually enjoy the holidays...sorry about your negative feelings, It helps me remember the "old times" and keep focus on my program.

I'm happy because I got my work done for the weekend and can enjoy the days to come. AH has already cycled through his drinking for today (by 1pm) and is now sleeping so all is well with the world. Looking forward to the weekend.

This is one holiday I don't really worry about. I am working all weekend and then crashing on my couch.

I woke up this morning to find my ABF passed out on the living room floor! I just left him there, I don't want to wake him. Now I have 3 days of hell to look forward to.

I know the feeling, Thus my user name! I'm always thankful when I'm able to turn around a bad day, sometimes I'm more successful than others. Have the best holiday you can!

Hugs to you Cassey! Up here it was a long weekend last weekend, and gosh I hate the phrase long weekend! If I was a politician, I would just do away with them all together...

It started off OK, but by Saturday evening, I was alone, crying, not having the dinner I was promised, and depressed. So I went out for a walk. I sat in a busy part of the city with lots of tourists. I decided to not let my ABF behaviour ruin my whole weekend. So I didn't have a nice dinner, but I had a nice walk, I learned just a little bit more about letting go. And I got home and wrote in my journal and started to imagine a future without all the lies and drama. I detached just a tiny bit...
May this weekend bring you a chance to live in hope. Sounds like you are choosing to be optimistic- that's a great step!
