Happy in recovery!!
Hello, SR, you wonderful group!
I am almost 9 weeks out of my relationship with AXF!! I am finally feeling less rocky, and actually enjoying the ability to make plans and see friends again. I still struggle with my residual love for my A's potential. But then I remember the REALITY of our last verbal exchange. I couldn't bring myself to tell another soul the things he said to me. And he was SOBER!!!!
Ah, well. Moving on.
AND-it's my 7 year anniversary of my own decision to stop drinking! YAY, ME!
Now I just need to work my recovery every day, and beware of the trap of finding yet another inadequate/dysfunctional/unavailable partner.
