This is sooooo true! I hope you don't mind if I make this my mantra, also. If I go with this, I am now a very young person, as my life truly began around January of this year. It is quite a process, but realizing that I can and will be responsible for my own health and happiness regardless of what others around me CHOOSE to do has made a huge difference in my attitude toward everything.

It's a huge shift when we really, really get that our happiness is squarely within our own hands....and always has been. Dealing with alcoholism and our attendant codependency can convince us otherwise...temporarily. A day to celebrate, when we recognize the power of our destiny lies right with us.
