Is a bloated face a cause for concern?

I agree about Facebook - tried it for about 8 months and ran as fast as I could. It seemed to be a haven for people to take digs at each other.
On that note, I have seen alcoholics look bloated, and if he is still drinking, it is a road to nowhere, so whether or not the bloat is from alcohol isn't really the concern. It's that you already know he is on a road to death if he continues. Sucks, huh?
I hate this disease.

When I broke up with him in 6 months ago, I broke up with Facebook too!
Initially, I had fun catching up with friends I went to school with, but after a while, I kinda got sick and tired of seeing people attempting to make themselves
"appear" like they're lives are nothing less than perfect...ha!
Just because the alcoholics look like they're having fun in these Facebook pictures doesn't mean they really are once they're off camera and the buzz starts to wear off...
I'm so glad I know better now...and I'm even happier that I've worked through most of my resentments as they relate to him..
And, yes...I told my mom (in a loving way, of course) that if I wanted to know what was going on in Facebook land, I would still have my own account!
(I think, she got the message!)
For me, SoberRecovery is my new FB and I like it that way!
