It is not surprising that many of us regard, as miracles, the marvelous changes we see in our Al-Anon friends. It is living proof that Al-Anon does work. It transforms desperate, unhappy people into joyous, useful ones; often long before there have been any decisive changes in the alcoholic situation.
Al-Anon produces a change of attitude in us; it gives us perspective on our problems, and shrinks them down to manageable size. As we learn to depend upon our Higher Power through applying the Al-Anon program into our lives, fear and uncertainty are replaced by faith and confidence. That is the miracle which we can bring about.
TODAY’S REMINDER
This day and every day, I will place myself and my life in the hands of God, secure in the knowledge that He will not fail me, if I, too, do my part.
“He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.” - Psalms
