longing for and missing them
this post by helenlee is so deep and wise, i didn't want it to be missed by anyone:

It took me a very, very long time to figure that out though. The person you ache for isn't him - how could it be a wasted, using, irresponsible bum? It's you that you long for honey, & I reckon somewhere deep down you'll recognize that truth.
This is going to be the hardest walk you've ever done in your life, but if you want to live, walk right outta there & don't look back. You can do it. One step at a time.
