sleep apnea

After doing some research on this sleep apnea I decided I had to tell AH about it or he would never know he stops breathing in his sleep. I told him that drinking makes it worse. He told me it would be great if he could just go to sleep and never wake up again....great.

My XAH used to say stuff like that. I always secretly agreed. Not proud of that...but in the moment it's really how I felt.

I have been working on that too, my mom is such a drain on our family, when she was in the ICU for the 2nd time in 18 months I just thought, this would be a good time for her just to go to sleep forever, give us all some rest, let my dad find someone that would love him as much as his wife loves her wine.

I used to feel bad about it, now I just acklnowledge that I feel that way and move on with the rest of my day.

tcb, why on earth are you spending your time researching HIS illness rather than focusing on yourself and your very valid need for a peaceful, non-violent home.

try switching the focus from HIM to you.
