What do I want for Christmas:
Here is my co-dependent, Al Anonner for LIFE list:
Well, if I am going to continue to take these guilt trips, I'd at least like some cute stuff to carry all my baggage in. Perhaps it could be color coordinated and match my shoes. And for goodness sakes, can I get some frequent flyer miles for all these guilt trips I take???
I'd like a crystal ball so I could see how everything is going to turn out.
I'd like one of those Magic 8 balls I had as a kid so when I didn't know the answer, I could just turn it upside down and the answer would be be RIGHT there.
I'd like a magic wand that I could wave about (frivously, and with enthusiasm) so I could "bless" all the people in my life with those things I just KNOW they need.... those things THEY need in order for ME to feel OK.

Here's what I need
I need a big mallet for my very own head. Every time I venture down "negativity road" said mallet is to knock me right back onto "count your blessings" street.
I need a "no excuses" alarm. Said alarm will go off every time I think I am too busy to...
pray, be grateful, spend a quiet moment by myself or with my son, go to bed early or take time out for me.
I also need a sheild to deflect the negativity sent my way by others.
Oh, and peace on Earth and good will toward men would be nice.

One footbal helmet for continually banging my head against the wall.
Box of band-aids for the skinned knees after I fall into the same hole, on the same street, which I keep walking down.
Xanax for my fear inspired anxiety.
Duct tape to hold down my pointing finger, plus the 3 that are pointing back at ME.
Duct tape (Extra roll) to keep my ever loving, insult flingin' mouth shut when the urge to BE RIGHT strikes, to PAY BACK hits!

Hair Care Products.
Shampoo- for when things get in my hair
Creme Rinse- for the tangles I get into
Color- To put back what life and worry have taken out
Comb and Brush- For getting it all arranged
Spray- to hold it all together when I've finally got it in place
