I did it! And went into the meeting this time. A 16 year old walked me in the door and was so sweet. I met some amazing people and I am so glad I went. Thank-you sober recovery!!

So funny because yesterday I finally decided that my RAH is not doing the recovery part so well because I am not letting him grow up. I actually "made" him take the kids for 2 nights and he actually said I was trying to get rid of them. No, they have 10 days off I thought he might want them 2 of those. My mistake! He then proceeds to tell me all the things wrong with me and I said Good, That is why we are getting a divorce. Also, tells me I shouldn't introduce kids to anyone for at least 6 months, I said you gave me custody. I must be doing something right with the kids. Then, he proceeded to tell me why I needed to go to Al-anon and talk about him, get it all out. Said no, Al-anon is about me and I do need to go for me. And I did,
They read January 8, I think, about not walking around the alcoholic and it was real eye opening to me. He is never going to grow up as long as he is married to me and I support him. I can do this!!
