Smile Understanding Acronyms

Here are some of the common acronyms found in posts:

AD - Addict daughter*
AH - Addict husband*
AS - Addict son*
AW - Addict wife*
(*If those are preceded by an R instead of A..Then it means Recovering)
ASAP as soon as possible
BBL be back later
BF boyfriend or best friend
BFN = bye for now
BIL brother-in-law
BRB be right back
BTDT been there, done that

DD dear daughter

FOC Family Of Choice. The "family" we make for ourselves from friends and other people who respect us.
FOO Family Of Origin. The family into which we were born, usually a family of dysfunctional people. As different from the FOC.
