Feeling strong , serene!
Today, I haven't cried and I'm feeling very strong. This after a weekend that ABF (who started hiding his drinking) picked fights, them blew off plans, drank and did not respond to me.
Today - after two meetings this weekend and a lot of tears and a very good day without him yesterday - I'm feeling more clarity.
He apologized this morning via text -- he said he couldn't go any longer without saying how sorry and ashamed he was for his actions.
I wrote back: "I accept your apology. But I refuse to live like this."
And, so far so good!
