Why does divorce take so long???
 

I can go get married in a minute, but it takes 3+ months to get divorced?? Received my STBXAH's case info on on Friday.... guess what?? He's drinking again and to top it off is unemployed again!! He has asked that I pay his attorney fees! HA! I am done paying his bills! What about the $$ he ran up on my credit cards when he would steal them out of my purse??

Ok, vent over..... Again if it would have taken this long to get married, plus a little counseling, plus AL-Anon, I would not have gotten into this mess. All I can say I have learned a hard lesson. I just hate that I have wasted so much of my life settling when down deep, I knew better...

Yes, if there were more requirements in place in order to get married, there would be alot more happier marriages and fewer divorces. This divorce thing is a big moneymaker for attornies and county court systems.

Sorry, however, you will just have to be patient.
