Alcohol and medications

I need some help on this one. My AW found out that she has high blood pressure and high cholesterol. The doctor has put her on medications for both. She quite drinking for awhile, but has crept back to a bottle a day, which is still down some. Can someone tell me of the complications that might happen mixing the two? Thanks for the help

Google the individual medications and read all the WARNINGS.

Look at the bottles and see if there are little yellow or green or blue warning stickers.

Talk to a Dr, as we cannot give medical advice here.

However, common sense is never to ingest alcohol when one is taking medication.
