First pictures of Poppy the foster

Introduction to my pack went surprisingly well! She's already playing with Miss Bug and Ku'a!

She's discovered she likes the big overstuffed chair...

What a beauty she is, best of luck.

Beautiful dog, and lucky to have landed with you. Be careful fostering, I did it once and fell in love - he's still here.:)

Ann 09-28-2011 05:41 PM

She's beautiful and I agree with Least, she'll be a keeper, you wait and see. :)

The masseuse down at my beautician's has already expressed an interest, but has to talk to her husband.

Things will happen as they should. :)

Welllllllllllllllllllllllll ................................................ looks to my like Poppy's mind is already made up!

roflmao

She's home as far as she is concerned.

Love and hugs,

She is absolutely adorable.

As for fostering-I was asked to foster my boy after losing my beagle-uh....no fostering, I went straight to adoption as he went straight for my heart. Poppy has that same look about her!

Gorgeous photos. Thanks Von, it makes me turn green as I cannot have a dog or cat, just 2 goldfish or 1 small caged bird. Refuse to keep some bird in captivity at all.

How much noise or damage do the powers that be think more darn goldfish could cause?

What was your first clue? :lmao :lmao

laurie6781 09-28-2011 08:36 PM

What was your first clue?
Pic #1 "This is mine you can't come up here."

Pic #2 "Uh uh, don't try it."

Pic #3 "Don't you dare. This is MY spot."

lmao

She's beautiful and adorable and looks so happy. Someone out there is going to fall in love with her. It's a good thing you are halfway across the country from me....

So nice there are fine people like you who are willing to upend their routine just a bit to give a dog a chance. Big hugs to all your other four-leggers for going with it!

bruingirl 09-28-2011 10:38 PM

She's absolutely adorable!!! She's gonna get a great home I can just feel it :)

Every gang needs a redhead!

I'm trying so hard not to snigger and put "foster" in quotes, oops, I did it!

she's a real cutie, she's happy with the pack, she's well adjusted to a multi-dog household...find another pup for the lady at the salon.

maybe someone that needs to be the "only child'? like my little rescue.

Tuffgirl 09-29-2011 08:16 AM

Ahhh she looks like my little puppy...I had wanted to name mine Ginger but lost out to Lola (2 to 1) because she is that same red color. Enjoy! My heart already melts when this little puppy curls up next to me with her head on my lap.

Fandy 09-29-2011 09:19 AM

very smart girl! no pee-pee issues so far....she's a real keeper. if you cannot, this will make her very easily adoptable too.

laurie6781 09-29-2011 09:21 AM

Not bad for a 5-month-old non-potty trained puppy!
Once she 'knows' she is 'home for good', lol that may change.

She is just minding her "p's and q's" until her place in the household is confirmed, then ............................. LOOK OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It took Shania and Mitch both about a month each. Once I let my guard down a bit and started allowing them to 'sleep with me' each one in their own time 'chose' to leave me an overnight 'present' right in the middle of the bathroom throw rug, roflmao

She is 'luring you in'. She is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love and hugs,

It's amazing how quickly they work their way into our hearts, isn't it?

She is such a good girl. Got up to a dry crate for her this morning and she did her business first thing outside. Not bad for a 5-month-old non-potty trained puppy!

I have 3 who are crated at night for that very reason. They are perfectly capable of holding it all night as evidenced by dry clean crates.

I don't know how soon I will give her a chance at sleeping with me. I've got to make sure she is potty-trained well first!

My oldest, almost 14, my greyhound, and my little Westie currently sleep with me, as well as at least 1 cat! :lmao

ItsmeAlice 09-29-2011 10:06 AM

She's gorgeous! I am a sucker for those little matching white patches on the toes. I call those "sneaker feet." My youngest cat has them and they my favorite feature of his. Sooo cute!

Wonderful news on the introductions....bodes so well for her being adopted. She's a social girl.
Crate training does so much, I think. Good for you! And what a good girl for learning so quickly!!

Kiss her for me :)

Alice
