Not feeling well today, and it affects me mentally and spiritually...

I most often go to work every other day just to allow my back time to recuperate.

Well not only did I get up this morning with the aches and pains, I also have crap draining down the back of my throat, and have a headache.

It's hard to be positive, and my conscious contact with my HP is overshadowed by feeling horrible!

I actually cancelled my PT this morning at 8:30, and I don't do that unless it's extra bad. Ugh.

I know stress lowers my immunity too, and I hope this is just a one day thing for me.

I get my nails and hair done later, so I hope that helps me feel a wee bit better.

Being sick sucks...

((((hugs))))

Oh yeah I agree. I missed two days of work and boxing classes last week due to an intestinal bug. It's hard to stay centered when your life revolves around how close you are to the bathroom.

Here's a boatload of good thoughts and hoping that you'll be feeling better soon.

Your friend,

I can totally relate! I've been feeling like crap since last Friday ..... slowly getting a cold. It's now moved to my throat and chest. I've got a nice little cough going on.

Hope you feel better soon!

My hair appointment is the last one at 2 today, and then I am coming home to lay down! I'm having a lot of pain standing straight up, which doesn't help either.

I don't feel nearly as bad today.

On an unrelated note, I talked to my employment counselor today, who in turn talked to my floor supervisor and they will accommodate me with a better chair!

Yay!
A chair can make a lot of difference, even to a person who does not have back pain.

Glad you are feeling a little better.
Great news on the chair change. That's a step in the right direction!
Proud of you for speaking up for your health and wellness. Well deserved

Hopefully today will be even better, I have not found a chair that was worth a crap but I did buy a pad on ebay for a wheelchair and that has made a huge difference, also I just started using a tens unit, it was about $60.00 at the medical supply store, it has made a huge difference in my back pain, sometimes one treatment will help me for 2 or 3 days.

Get well soon.
