OT-could use a hug
I was up at 5 this morning as I commuted into Wichita for half a day's work.
I thought I'd relax the rest of the day.
My main line just backed up, and of course the single solitary guy in town who does the lines isn't home.
No sump pump in my basement either.
Every year without fail this happens. With the drought conditions, the trees' roots are reaching wherever they can.
Ugh. Ugh. Ugh.
I'm going to take Amber and myself to the movie even though I can't afford it.

I'm having a day too, nothing to do with main lines, just a different kind of BS. Sometimes I just wish life would just _stop_ for a day or two so I can catch up. So I'll do some of the same wishing for you

I'm so sorry Dev. It's the daily two-step. One step forward, two steps back, cha-cha-cha.
I'm with Mike wishing life would just take a breather for day, or two if I can get it, and let me catch up.
I'm still trying to trying to payback the $ I borrowed to get my car running and now it's got new problems.
It's like paddling upstream. All the effort and I only slip a little further back each day.
I like your movie idea. Give yourself the night off even if life won't do the same.

Still backed up but managed to contact my landlord and get the cell phone number for the guy that I need. I left a message, so hopefully he will get back with me soon. He's very busy being the only one around who takes care of backed up lines!

A porta-pot was starting to sound pretty good, Mike! 
I'm back in business now so it's catching up on laundry and dishes.
Thank God my days/hours at work are flexible so I could be at home today to get this taken care of.
